Garrett Gallagher - c/o 2005 I ran cross country and track from 2001-2004 and I loved every minute of it. I ran varsity cross country for 3 years and was on the CIF team each of those 3 years. I have 3 brothers, one of which also ran cross country and track for Ayala. I was proud to be apart of the excellent program that Coach Pye and Coach Staab have created. I also had the chance to run while Coach Starkey was still there. I am currently attending Mt Sac doing my general education, after which I will transfer to Cal Poly Pomona to major in Electrical Engineering. I am still running, because it has become my passion. I also play basketball and baseball in my free time. I am hoping that some day soon I will be able to compete in marathons until I am very old, cause I am a runner for life!

I ran on the Ayala Cross County and Track teams from 1998-2002. I was on four CIF teams and two state teams. I continued my running career in college and ran for Mt. San Antonio College's cross country and track teams. My main events in track were the steeplechase and mile. I competed in the Los Angeles Marathon in 2006 and the St. George Marathon in 2007. I have also competed in the Camp Pendelton Mud Run (highly recommend!).
I graduated from Mt. SAC in 2004 with a A.A. degree in Liberal studies and continued with my undergrad degree at BYU where I graduated in 2007 with a degree in Dietetics. I am currently working on my Master's in Nutrition through an online program with Utah State University.
I married Spencer Waldron on August 11, 2006 and we are currently living in the Los Angeles area where Spencer is attending Pepperdine Law School.

I ran cross country and track all four years of high school under the amazing leadership of the Starkey, Pye, & Staab trio. My experience as a member of ACC truly impacted my life, shaping me into the strong and motivated individual I am today. Upon graduation, I attended UC San Diego, where I continued to run cross country and track for two years. After developing two consecutive stress fractures and taking two seasons off as a red-shirt, I decided to try something new... Rowing! I joined the Women's Crew team and found my new niche (although I will always be loyal to running!). I graduated from UCSD in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Human Biology. Since then, I have been working at Student Health Service on campus, where I supervise 85 peer health educators whom I absolutely love! Currently, I am in the process of applying to graduate schools in order to become a PA (physician assistant), so in a couple months, I'll be able to tell you which school I'll be attending next summer! And as for running, I am back in the runner's world again- thanks to Miss Karina who convinced me to train for the half-marathon. Wish us luck!

This is Michael Jacobs, I ran cross country from 1999-2002. They were some of the best years of my life, but unfortunately I did not run my senior year which I still regret to this day. I also ran the mile, 2 mile, 800, 300 hurdles, and the steeple chase in track.
I recently purchased my own house in August of 2008 and am currently still going to school while working full time. My new favorite hobby that I picked up is skydiving. I have recorded over 80 jumps from above 12,000 ft. and so far no serious incidents have happened to me. Feel free to email me if anyone ever wants to try jumping out of a plane.
